Brabham Coles – Whiteman Park by Sioux Tempestt

In July 2021, Artforms worked with artist Sioux Tempestt to produce an entry artwork and accompanying bench for the exterior of the new Coles shopping centre at Brabham, a development near Whiteman Park on the outer edge of Perth. We examined Sioux’s initial design of a rainbow constructed from pipework and suggested that it would be too easily climbable. Sioux revised her design to become a boxed rainbow with coloured layers.
